Castle Howard, Yorkshire

Being a complete period property addict I just loved the fabrics, colours of the rooms and views of this fantastic building and thought I had to share them.

The turquoise room! The same especially commissioned fabric has been used on the walls, the curtains and the upholstery - don' t try this at home, unless that is you have a mansion or castle.

Dining in style. Although its quite busy in here it works because the colours compliment each other and because of the height of the ceilings and size of the room.

Somewhere to relax. I love the way the gold and bronze wallpaper compliments the picture frames, books etc - oh and theres a touch of turquoise again...

What can I say, the architecture and pictures are just stunning.

The gardens are beautiful too...
